Medusa is a tanky agi carry who has lots of aoe damage and teamfight contribution! She has a very standard buildup, but if you're feeling generous you can always go for a divine rapier to really output the dps. Make sure to delay the split shot levels until later in the game, while getting snake, stats, and mana shield early on. Normally you should play in a safe lane farming role, but this game I played a mid role. It's not ideal at all as ganking isn't her strong suit(not even close) but it kinda works.
