Welcome to the fourth season of Red Bull Battle Grounds, featuring our first foray into professional Dota 2 scene! Red Bull Battle Grounds: Dota 2 is an invitational 5-week tournament series that will culminate in a one-day grand final on May 10th in San Francisco, CA at The Warfield Theatre for a $75,000 base line prize purse.
20 invited professional teams, representing the best of the best from five regions around the world, will play through the five rounds of group play, starting the week of March 29th. The five teams emerging in this global showdown will advance to the playoffs at the Red Bull eSports Studio on May 5th in Santa Monica, CA to represent their region. After which, the two top teams will be heading to the grand finals which will be preceded by an all-star match!
