You might be wondering how I know the Wildkin Probabilities! Read below to find out how I got the answer.
There is a rule in dota that the same camp cannot spawn in a row.
There are five possible large camps
It is best to calculate the probability of failure, P_f. Then the probability for finding a Wildkin is P_s = 1- P_f.
At the 30 second mark, two camps spawn. The chances that both are failures is (4/5)*(4/5). Thus at the beginning P_s = 36%.
At 1:00 I stacked the large cliff camp. The other camp respawned as well. The chance that these two failed as well is: 1 - (4/5)*(4/5)*(3/4)*(3/4) = 64%
Due to my greed, I was only able to stack the cliff camp at 2:00. The chances that we still have failed are: P_s = 1 - (4/5)*(4/5)*(3/4)^3 = 73%.
I failed to stack either camp at 3:00, but the center large camp re-spawned. So P_s = 1 - (4/5)*(4/5)*(3/4)^4 = 80%
Then, I stacked the cliff camp at 4:00. P_s = 1 - (4/5)*(4/5)*(3/4)^5 = 85%.
Finally, the chances of seeing my dog in each video is 100%. =]
